All summer we wanted to take a day off of our normal routine and have a family day. James took the day off yesterday and we did just that. We were calling it bug day and did some of her favorite things.
First, we decided to skip a morning nap and instead, go to the ZOO!

After a good long family nap we headed out to the pool for the afternoon! Bug getting excited in the car!
And we ended the day by getting some pizza.... of course, Bug's Favorite kind.
We had a good day and Amelia did well. It did, however, prove to me that she is still not ready for just one nap. We did have a few meltdowns at the Zoo due to heat, hunger, and tiredness.Looking forward to more days like this!
