House

Well, we closed today on our new house! It is finally done and we will officially move in this weekend. It's going to be a crazy couple of weeks... house completion, closing, packing, moving, multiple family christmas events, my sister's wedding, new years day catering event.... *sigh*

Slowly but surely we'll get settled and it will be wonderful to be in for Christmas ... and now for the pictures:

very excited for the double ovens and gas range!

November

Wow... ok so it's been awhile. Sure we've been busy, but the real reason it's been hard for me post is my computer time is constantly interrupted by a certain little boy who thinks he should get some computer time as well. It's just sometimes easier to not fight over the keyboard and hence, ignore the blog. So, with that being said, I'll quickly update what's been going on.

November seemed to have flown by. We celebrated a few family birthdays, including James' grandmother's 90th birthday.

We've also had lots happen with the house (and yes I know I promised an update). Completion is now about a week away and we will close on the 16th. It makes for a crazy Christmas week and, lets face it, all of December, but we are looking forward to being in. So, I will post pictures when it's done. Deal?

Last week, we enjoyed our thanksgiving. On Thursday, we spent the day with my family.

Uncle Landon teaching tricks while lunch was being made.

Family pictures never seem to work.

Games were played. This game was a favorite: Headbands.

Just relaxing, an added bonus of Thanksgiving

Again, lots of game time.

On Friday, we spent some time with the Humphrey side. Again, eating, relaxing, playing games... we also went to Christmas on the Square to see the lights.

Saturday, was our annual Christmas tree farm trip! We decided we'd get a small tree this year so we could transfer to the house when we move in. It was a pleasant morning with the sun shining bright.

Forgive me if the next time I blog is January and I bombard you with Christmas stuff and House pictures. Maybe I'll get to it before then ... as long as I can keep Jack from banging on the keys.

Merry Christmas!
