We had a great weekend. In between swimming, relaxing, yard work, and James taking another test, we had a UFC party Saturday night with some friends and watched some amazing fights, had a blessed day with our church family, and had our annual 4th of July picnic including ice cream, swimming, and lots of food. I think we've been doing that for almost 20 years, now. I made some awesome s'mores cookies ... so if you are looking for a fun cookie -try these!
We decided, with Amelia, it might just be easier to skip fireworks at 10. Bedtime is usually around 730 and she was already tired from swimming and playing with her cousins. So we came home and did some small fireworks just the three of us.

I'm not sure what Amelia thought... maybe just that she just wanted to go to bed. Anyway, it was great to see friends and family.
Now, a new week ... Do I really have to go clean now??
